We’re a fairly informal running group. We get together and run. After the runs we like to go out for a coffee, beer, meal or any excuse to sit around and socialize. We’re open to everyone with no minimum running distances or speeds. Join us as a BAR Tender
Our group runs are free, as is our support and friendship. Once you’ve run with us a few times, if you choose, you can do more for and with the BAR by becoming a BAR Tender. As a dues-paying BAR Tender, you will receive a membership gift, the ability to ability to vote in our annual elections, as well as additional discounts at a local running store. In addition, your $20 annual dues will go straight to the BAR and help us continue to provide you with all the great work we do!

I agree that I am a member of Boise Area Runners (“BAR” or “club”) and know that participating in and volunteering for organized group runs, social events, and races with BAR are potentially hazardous activities which can cause injury or death. I will not participate in any club-organized events, group training runs or social events, unless I am medically able and properly trained, and I certify that I am medically able to perform all activities associated with the club and am in good health, and I am properly trained. I agree to abide by all rules established by BAR. I assume all risks associated with being a member of this club and participating in club activities including, without limitation: falls, unintentional contact with other participants, the effects of the weather, including high heat and/or humidity, traffic and the conditions of the road, and medical complications, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of BAR’s acceptance of my membership, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, my successors, agents, assigns and personal representatives, waive and release BAR, Road Runners Club of America, its members, Meetup.com, all club sponsors, their representatives, successors, agents and assigns (the “Released Parties”) from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation with the club, even though that liability may arise out of negligence on the part of the persons named in this waiver, including me, and I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties for any liability, costs or attorneys’ fees incurred in connection with any such claims or liabilities. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any depictions of me in photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record for any promotional purposes of BAR.
